A Rhode Island native, Robert graduated from Harvard College and The Harvard Graduate School of Design and an architect for 42 years, until his retirement in 2013. Since 2009, Robert spent increasing amounts of time on his artwork. His work involves the creation of three dimensional surfaces and objects from two dimensional patterns and parts. Robert’s work is defined by intricate patterns and textures that emphasize the play of light and shadow.
