“I am a colour field artist who loves to create luminous oil paintings that add a spark of joy and beauty to people’s lives. My process is gradual and deliberate, stripping down the subject matter to its essence and applying multiple layers of transparent colour. The interaction and overlapping process creates a sense of light and depth.

In this fast-paced world where everyone seems to be busy being busy or chasing the next big thing, I’d like to see my work as an escape - a place where time slows down and even stands still, allowing viewers a moment of reflection or quiet contemplation.

To paraphrase the King of Colour Fields, Mark Rothko, my hope is that viewers experience the same range of emotions standing in front of one of my works that I do creating them.”
